Forbes: Gutseriyevs lead Russia’s wealthiest families’ rating ‘16
MOSCOW, Aug 25 (PRIME) -- The family of Mikhail Gutseriyev topped the Forbes’s chart of Russia’s wealthiest family clans in 2016, with earnings amounting to U.S. $9.8 billion, according to a statement released by the magazine on Thursday.
The family of businessman Arkady Rotenberg ranked second with a combined wealth of $2.8 billion. Brothers Alexei and Dmitry Ananyevs ranked third with $2.8 billion earnings.
The family of Nikolai Shamalov, co-owner of Bank Rossiya, was a newcomer in the 2016 rating, ranking fourth with $2.4 billion earnings and the family of former head of the Tatarstan republic Mintimer Shaimiyev rounds out the top five with a $1.7 billion wealth.
